Capital Area Network of

Elder and Disability Support Services

 Conveners:
Healthy Communities of the Capital Area (HCCA),
Spectrum Generations, City of Augusta,
United Way of Kennebec Valley

This Capital Area Network consists of an open and inclusive network of providers and other interested parties who participate on a bi-monthly meeting basis and/or are kept informed via meeting minutes and announcements. Meetings are held the second Tuesdays of odd numbered months.

The purpose of the Collaborative is to come together to network, educate and share resources for people age 60 and over and adults 18 or older with a disability or chronic condition.

Some of the topics we are considering for future meetings are:

  • Senior College
  • Video and training "If I Tell"  on sexual assault on the disabled.
  • Disability Rights
  • Iris Network
  • Youth transitions

If you are interested in joining the Capital Area Network of Elder and Disability Support Services, please contact Vicki Foster by phone at 207-623-0764 Ext. 126 or  by e-mail
